Description

This 12" Caterpillar /  Butterfly puppet is very realistic. He morphs into a butterfly puppet when turned inside out with a wingspan of about 12 inches wide. Their screen printed wings are very life like and really do flap up and down! Very simple to operate and highly recommended for educational purposes. The mouth does not move.

A wonderful puppet to teach and actually demonstrate the life cycle of a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly.

Monarch Caterpillar Butterfly Puppet

Really liked the butterfly puppet. It was so realistic and got great comments on it by my granddaughter's
teachers. It was ideal for her project.

Very cute, but difficult to put back into caterpil

This is a cute puppet overall, but very difficult to make it to go back as a caterpillar. Well made overall though!!!

Monarch caterpillar/butterfly

Beautiful coloring and markings on the silky butterfly wings, caterpillar shape and positioning very true to life. Takes a little practice to fold the wings back into the caterpillar body so that the body is sufficiently filled out, but a very creative design! I love it and so will the kids at Sunday school!

Pretty but challenging to maneuver

We got this to see if it would work for some classes we teach and wanted a larger butterfly that turned into a caterpillar as well. This accomplishes that. The Monarch wings are realistic and show the male markings. The caterpillar has the true legs looking different than the prolegs.

However, what is hard to discern in the photo is the opening is a zipper and there are no legs on the adult butterfly. It's actually kind of hard to get the butterfly wings tucked inside for the caterpillar form. It'll still work for our purposes but I will probably source a different butterfly puppet for the rest of our supplies.
