Description

This mini version Elephant marionette is an innovative string puppet that will hop, skip, and dance simply by moving the control bar and strings. 

The puppet itself is approximately 8" tall from head to toe. The strings connected to the control bar are about 8" in length, therefore the total length from the top of the "T" control bar to the toe of the puppet is approximately 16".

The control bar offers a "tangle free" feature. Simply pop out the peg on the control bar to remove and untangle the strings if need be.

Mouths are not moveable.

Puppet Pending

The puppet has not seen any action, yet. But, I am sure that the child will test the puppets metal very soon during his December birthday.

smaller than expected

Compared to the wolf (for another boy) the elephant seems a little smaller (in girth). The facial expression is very cute. It detangles very easily (definitely a plus with kids) and it's easy to use for little hands. Its price is really good and the quality looks like it will stand up to many years of gentle play. I will get more for other kids I know.

I purchased 2 of these small elephants to use in a circus marionette show I am working on. They are real cute and children love these animals. For the low price, they are excellent quality, untangle easily, and work well for me as I am a "one person marionette puppeteer"!
