We have tried to make puppet ordering at thepuppetstore.com as easy as possible! Whether you order one puppet or many, rest assured your order will be processed in a timely fashion. We aim to process all puppet orders within 24-48 hours after receipt of payment. Most orders for in-stock items are shipped within 24-48 hours from the time your puppet order is placed. Please note that your puppet order will not be shipped until payment is received. Orders placed online are given priority- however you may also place your puppet order by phone during normal business hours by dialing 1-800-571-8845.
To make ordering a puppet available to everyone, we accept a wide variety of payments.
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo are also accepted. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases for extra security. The Puppet Store has taken every precaution to ensure that transactions will be safe and your privacy protected.
The Puppet Store accepts money orders, certified cashier checks, and business checks in US Dollars. If you wish to pay for your puppet using one of these methods please go through the online ordering process and choose the appropriate payment method when checking out. You must write your order number on your payment to ensure your payment is credited to the correct order. The Puppet Store strongly urges our customers not to send us personal checks, however, if we receive a personal check for your order, beware that your order will not ship until your check clears- this usually takes 10-15 business days. Business checks are also held until they clear. Orders paid by money order or cashier check ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment. (A $29 returned check fee will be charged for checks returned unpaid for any reason)
Only Schools, City Councils, and other approved Government Organizations located within the United States will be invoiced upon request. Sorry, but we do not bill churches. There is a $75 minimum order requirement. You are unable to purchase via our website or by phone using this payment method. Please mail or fax your signed purchase order to our sales department. Our fax number is 866-557-4554. If you include your email address, we will send order status and shipment tracking information to you. Please note, invoices are sent "due on receipt"- if your organization takes longer than 30 days to pay invoices please refrain from submitting a PO to us.
Got a gift certificate? Lucky you! Simply add whatever items you want to your shopping cart. When you checkout, you will be asked on the payment page to enter the gift certificate code to be applied to your account. We will automatically use your gift certificate to pay for any puppet purchase you make today or in the future. You can always check your gift certificate balance from your "My Account" page.
Placing a puppet order with thepuppetstore.com is painless, but here are the basics:
We have a simple, 3 step online ordering process. Simply add the puppet items you wish to buy to your shopping cart. If you need to adjust quantities or remove items you will be given the opportunity to do so- just be sure to click the “recalculate” button. When you are finished, click the “view cart” or “checkout” option. (The “view cart” option can always be found on the very top of every page) The first time you order with us you will be asked to create an account. Creating an account will allow you to obtain tracking information, edit, review, or cancel orders, write product reviews, and more. After entering your billing and shipping information, you will be asked to confirm your puppet order. If everything looks ok, click “place order” and your order will be processed. You will receive an email confirming your order within 10 minutes. (Some email providers block our automated emails mistaking them for spam, please be sure to add thepuppetstore.com to your address book if you are having problems receiving emails from us)
Only orders shipped to New Jersey addresses will be charged sales tax. The current rate is 7%. If you are located in NJ and have a tax exempt certificate, please call to place your order by phone. You will need to fax or mail us a copy before we can ship the order.
During the checkout process, you will have the chance to enter a coupon code you may have received as a result of our marketing efforts. If your coupon code is valid, the discount will be instantly applied to your puppet order. Be sure to sign up for our Newsletter to receive these special savings offers.
We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied with their puppet purchase. If you are not satisfied with your puppet order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the purchase to initiate a return. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. If product arrives damaged please contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with the appropriate shipping carrier and be sure to save all shipping cartons.
-Customer must notify us within 48 hours of receipt of purchase that they wish to initiate a return.
-Books, scripts, CD’s, puppet stands, final sale items, and shipping charges are non-refundable.
-Items must be returned in perfect, new condition, in original packaging, with ALL original tags.
-Customer is responsible for return shipping charges (unless the return is a result of our mistake)
-Returns must be received within 14 days of issuance of return authorization number.
-A copy of the original packing slip or sales receipt must accompany the return.
-You will receive a refund of the purchase price, less a 15% restocking fee, by check or credit card adjustment within 14 business days. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
-Do NOT send anything back to us until you have received confirmation that your return has been approved. You will then be given a special address to send your return to. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or credited for.
